I had an issue with my order and, i was disappointed at first. I reached out to Max Fitness and they did get it fixed without any hassle, which I appreciated. It took a couple of days, so not exactly ideal, but at least it’s all sorted now. Glad it worked out in the end, even if the experience wasn’t perfect.

"Billing has been straightforward"
I signed up for maxfitness.com and was a little nervous about the monthly charge, but it came through exactly the way it was shown at checkout.

No random fees popped up on my card, the billing date has stayed the same each month, and the email receipt usually shows up quickly. Chasing down billing mistakes is so unnecessary, so I’m glad I haven’t had to deal with that.

Nothing dramatic to report, which is kind of the point. It’s just nice when billing is simple, clear, and correct

I come here most weeks, and overall the equipment is kept in good shape. I rarely see machines out of order, and when something is down, it usually gets fixed quickly. I do wish some of the machines had clearer instructions posted, though, especially for people who aren’t already familiar with them

I’ve been going to Max Fitness for a few months now, and the place is just consistently clean. The floors, machines, bathrooms, like, I’ll be walking over to a machine and notice everything actually looks wiped down and taken care of, not grimy like some gyms can get.
The staff seem to be cleaning often, and there are usually spray bottles around too, which makes it easy to wipe things before or after using them. It just makes working out feel easier when you’re not stopping mid-set thinking, wait, is this gross? Happy with it overall.

"Super convenient spot"
The location is the main reason I keep coming back. It’s close enough to me that I don’t have to overthink it, and I like that I can get there without dealing with a bunch of extra turns or annoying parking stuff. Little thing, but that makes a difference.

"Nice pool, but the locker area could use work"
Overall, it’s a decent gym for the price, and the pool is definitely the best part. I’ve enjoyed using it, but the lockers feel outdated and the area gets crowded fast. It’s not a dealbreaker, but I do think they need to improve that part to make the gym feel more worth it

I was expecting a bit more from this fitness service. The trainers didn’t really come across as experts to me, I asked a few basic questions and mostly got generic answers that felt like something I could’ve just found online. Some of the advice also seemed a little outdated. When I reached out to support about it, I kind of felt like they were blaming me for not asking the “right” questions instead of actually addressing the issue. The site itself is fine, but I wouldn’t rely on them for serious fitness guidance.

"Pretty good fitness checkup"
Overall, the fitness assessment was solid. It was easy enough to follow, and they went over the main things without making it feel too complicated. I liked that they explained my results in normal terms, so I actually understood what they meant. It did take a little longer than I thought it would, which was slightly annoying, but I still felt like it was worth doing. I'd probably give it 4 stars.

"Friendly gym with a good community feel"
I’ve been going to Max Fitness for a few months now, the people have been one of the biggest reasons I’ve stuck with it. The members are friendly without being over the top, and I’ve never felt judged or out of place. A couple of people have even helped me out when I wasn’t totally sure what I was doing, which I really appreciated. It’s still a gym, so you have to make yourself show up, but the welcoming vibe definitely makes that easier

"Picked the worst time to go"
I think I just had really bad timing, because every time I went after work the gym was completely packed. I’d plan on getting a decent workout in, but ended up standing around waiting for machines more than actually using them. The staff seemed fine and I didn’t have any issues with them, but going in the evenings just wasn’t worth it for me with how crowded it got.

"Annoying contract and no one to talk to"
The gym itself was fine, nothing amazing but okay. What really bothered me was the contract. The terms felt way too strict, and when I tried to figure out canceling, it was not simple at all. The fees also weren’t explained very clearly. The worst part was there was basically no real human contact, just forms or automated stuff, which made the whole thing even more frustrating. I wouldn’t sign up again.

I tried using maxfitness.com once, i didn’t feel all that comfortable with it. The site technically worked, but a few parts looked outdated and kind of unclear, which didn’t exactly make me feel confident while browsing.
The checkout was the part that made me pause. I couldn’t easily find much about payment security or how they protect your personal info. Maybe everything is handled properly behind the scenes, but if that’s the case, they really don’t do a great job showing it. And if you ask about stuff like this, I really don’t want some canned “we’re sorry for any inconvenience” reply that doesn’t actually explain anything.

Nothing bad happened with my order or my info as far as I know, but I’d still be cautious using it again. They really need to make the privacy and security details more obvious instead of making customers dig around and hope for the best.

"Product was fine, but the communication and changing terms were frustrating"
I ordered from maxfitness.com and the product itself was okay, no real complaints there. But the communication was average. I had to wait a while to get replies, and the updates they sent weren’t very clear. What annoyed me most was that some of the terms seemed to change along the way, which made the whole thing feel a bit confusing and less straightforward than it should’ve been. They did eventually respond and sort things out, so it wasn’t a terrible experience, just not a great one either. I’d appreciate it if they kept customers better informed and stuck to the terms they provide upfront.

"Decent workouts, but the scheduling is annoying"
The workouts themselves are good, but the class schedule is what really bothers me. Times seem to change more than I’d like, and if you’re trying to go in the evening, good luck, those spots fill up fast. It makes it harder to stay consistent, which is frustrating.

"Super convenient hours"
I really like the hours here. I can swing by early before work or go later if my day gets hectic, which makes it so much easier to stick with my workouts. I’ve never had a problem finding time to get one in. Definitely 5 stars from me.
